need a recommendation - exhaust tip

so my cheapo exhaust tip has turned yellow

I know if I had spent the $600 on a cat-back system I probably would be having this problem but ohh well, my current setup is more $ efficient.

can someone recommend a HIGH quality 10" exhaust tip? specifically one with a very high grade of metal that will last 5 years without coming apart or turning brown yellow.

I would expect to spend $40-$75 depending on prices i have seen.

I have the exact tip as elton and I love it. I just need a new one because they resurfaced a bunch of roads around me and from getting all that crap off my exhaust tip, it lost its shine

X2 on the magnaflow tips. the duel wall tips IMO look the best here is what it looked like when i first bought it with my exhaust

and i think its been almost 4 years now? road salt, mud, not washing it for months... everything still looks great. the only thing is the inside which who cares its the inside!

they make them smaller too i just liked the look of a wider opening.

The best tip is the Toyota Tundra TRD tip.

It is real Toyota chrome and won't rust.

To answer your question [MENTION=84076]jwillo7[/MENTION], the link that Elton H put up in the thread above is the Magnaflow they are talking about. You can get different lengths. I've had mine for over a year and it still looks great. Even through the snowy ass winter we had and all the salt they throw on the roads...not a spec of rust. Plus they are pretty inexpensive compared to some other choices.

Agreed. I just wanted to let him know since most people who activate old threads don't seem to be aware the previous posters (not all of us though) have moved on.

I recommend the Toyota tip just because its the only one that hasn't rusted on me, although I've never tried the magnaflow.

I've done both. On the trail I take the tip off but in the city I leave it on.
