Hey all,
Is there anyone out there that has removed or modified their roof rack cross bars (or has access to a wrecked 4th Gen) that might have one of the thumbscrews/knobs to spare?
I spent an hour or so yesterday hunting annoying rattles, and found that one particularly annoying one that sounded like it was coming from the rear cargo area was actually coming from the roof rack where one of the knobs was missing.
I called the dealer, and since it is considered an "option" they couldn't locate the catalog number for the 6mm x 25mm screw knob. ...and of course Home Depot won't have a specialty item close to that in metric.
Anyway, if you can help it would be greatly appreciated.
