seems well cared for

Miles seem a bit high but not particularly worrisome. Don't know your market-it seems fairly priced to me.

Of more concern would be if other maintenance is regularly done-timing belt and water pump at 90K miles so coming up on another one soon. Regular alignments? records?

Personally I would hold out for a 99 or newer but obviously I am biased towards the 99s. Be aware of the strawberry milkshake issue and rear axle seals. New radiator about $130 or so. Rear axle seals are cheap for the parts but labor is pricey.

Having a Yota dealership go over it on your behalf is always a wise idea-use that as negotiating tool for price.

Good luck with your search/purchase!

ebay Motors has the following to say about the '98...

Resent sales of that model went for $2025 - $5550
Kelly Blue Book Value is $6060 - $8665
At the time I'm writing this there are six '98s listed ranging from $2025 - $6633

Hope this helps.
