Need Advice on parts on Rear Window/Tailgate

Does anyone know where I can get a parts breakdown on a 1987 4Runner tailgate/window?

Problem is with the cable assemblies not retracting. I have to physically push them in to make the latches work on the left and right side. My guess is the springs are weak or the cable assemblies are just too old and locking up. I did take one of the cable assemblies out and it was binding. Should I try to squirt some WD40 in the assemblies, and let the lube drip through the cable sleeving by gravity? Any thoughts or experiences with this issue would help.

Search google images for an exploded view. cable housings are probably dry from age or could be corroded or kinked. Tailgates are a hobby of their own.

Yes, but use a real penetrating oil instead.

WD40 is a solvent, not a lubricant.
