i am very very seriously debating whether to change careers or not. i am ready to look in to becoming a certified toyota technician, and i need help in finding places that are part of the toyota training program. i know mass bay out here is mass. is, but anyone know of any others in the area? once again, this is a very serious inquiry. thanks.

What do you do for a living now? Have you worked in the automotive field before??
I worked as a tech for a Toyota dealership, and I was ASE certified (all areas except transmissions) and then became Toyota certified. Any Toyota dealership will put you through the classes to become certified, unless you're not worth the time/money.
Before jumping into the auto trade, I would suggest you find yourself a part-time job to get a good idea of the type of work you'll be doing and learn how you get paid.

Im 25 now but when I started working on cars I was 17 and many of the dealers wanted the techs to have some sort of trade school backing, trade schools only teach the basics but most higher end dealer ask you if you have attended any of them.

I always wanted to go into engineering, but somehow ended up in management.... go figure.
