need exhaust upgrade

I desperately need to put an exhasut system on my 2004 4runner SR5. It is the V-6. is it worth just welding on a magnaflow muffler with a custom pipe from the cat, or should i spend the money to get a bolt on system? I need to spend as little as i can. Thanks guys!:bash:

I would get the borla. There's a sound clip from a V6 with dual borlas on this forum. You should be able to find it by doing a search. I think it sounds nice because it's not too loud on the V6.

I like the look of the Magnaflow, plus its one of the cheapest systems available. High quality stainless steel construction with mandrel bent pipes and polished tips and muffler.

Do some research there are a bunch of threads on this.

I have a V8 and thats what i did. It's probably more desireable to go with a cat back system, but it is definitely not necessary. My Magnaflow muffler sounds great.
