Need headlamp bulb help ASAP

So I am traveling for work on the Indian reservation and one of my high beam bulbs and one of my low beam bulbs have burned out. The sylvania app says I need to replace the low beam 9006 su (I upgraded to the silverstar ultras a while back) and the high beam 9005 su. The small auto parts store only has a 2 pack of the 9006 su low beams and no 9005's. so my question is can I use the 9006 su in the high beam lamp? Will the plug still fit? Will it even screw into the headlamp assembly? Will it do something bad voltage or watts wise? It won't matter if that side high beam is underpowered because I have 2 sets of PIAA off road lights that came on my Shrockworks bumper.

The 9006's will work in the high beam location. It just wont be as bright as the 9005.

Electronically, it will be fine to put a 9006 in a 9005 housing because like you said it is lower in power; but you might have to physically modify the plug and the base to fit in the 9005 position.

I've never done a 9006 bulb to a 9005 housing conversion, but I have done a 9005 bulb to a 9006 housing, and it just requires minor trimming of the base and inside the plug of the bulb.

Like in this link below, but reverse in your case; once you have everything in front of you it should be obvious what to cut.

Thanks for not helping, and when Ur traveling out in the middle of nowhere good luck finding HID bulbs.

If your that worried about it then carry spares...most of the times its the ballast that goes bad any who.

No, I just didn't see how "hid" would help me in my situation. But I did kinda follow Ur advice. I got the two pack, replaced the low beam and now have a spare and when I left stopped at another Walmart that had a high beam two pack and replaced the one and now have a high beam spare.
Hid is nice but I don't need it since I have the PIAA's. personally I think most people w HID's are just blinding people. I don't see any value in that much investment. In low beam I have good bulbs and fogs, when there's no one on long stretches of highway I have high beams and driving lights.
Replying "HID" is your choice, but if I were to read a post about a person w a flat in a situation of limited options, I wouldn't reply "run flat tires". But then I wouldn't assume as you did that an Indian reservation auto parts store that didn't even have regular headlight bulbs would have a full hid bulb, lamp and ballast solution.

Cool..thats where u would contact me and inquire about purchasing a set for your vehicle. Even though u stated it is of no interest to you my communication lines r open. I personally believe it bo a safety standpoint for your self. So you can see. Thanks cheers.

Just stop at Walmart and pickup some new bulbs!
