Need Help...Air Flow Meter Connection Rough Idle

I was having problems at the air flow meter connection. She was idling really rough, black smoke coming out the exhaust, and cutting off

I noticed if i lifted right at the connection slightly, she would smoothen out, and then white smoke would come out of the exhaust. There is a hole in the muffler

So now i rigged the connection at the afm as in the pic. Metal plate underneath with a zip tie. It's holding the connection up, but i do get white smoke, but she's idling pretty smooth now. She did sit for about 10 days. Smoke went away, I then stepped on the gas, and more white smoke came out. I'm not leaking any fluids. My coolant is new and full

I dont know what to do anymore. I didnt clean the pins inside the connection, so maybe that would help. They didnt look dirty. I dont know if she's safe to drive

What year? Are those Phillips screws tight? Some electrical cleaner on the pins can't hurt...

It's a 95 4X4 V6. The screws are tight. I have some CRC electrical cleaner from vato zone, but it's not safe for plastics, so i didnt spray

I drove around today for a few miles, and she was ok. Just a slight up and down when idling, like it was before i screwed it up
