So I was finally able to get the center console upgrade done today thanks to a local t4r member (thanks again Bryce). It took most of the day but I got it done.
After cleaning up and getting ready to go inside to watch some college football / drink some beer I click my remote to lock the car and nothing happens.
I have the stock 97 alarm (RS3000) and moved the alarm to the left of the steering wheel in the open spot that would be for the RR Locker if I had it on my truck.
The alarm and remote works as it should except it won't lock the door. The remote will open the door and disarm correctly. I checked fuses and it's not that plus everything in the car works (radio, windows, etc.). There's nothing wrong with the door itself since I can lock/unlock with the key and the controls on the arm rest.
I don't remember seeing anyone saying this but do you have to reset the alarm/remote keyless entry after moving the Toyota Alarm button?
Don't know if it matters but I removed the drivers seat during the install. There was a wire connected to the seat from the black box on the floor.
