NEED HELP IDENTIFYING CAR!!! Stolen Dog

Let's make a long story short helping a friend. Who better to ask than car people to identify a car. See picture it's all we have right now. Looks to me like a Lexus or Hyundai logo but can't find a model to have grill hood and lights match. Any help is appreciated!

This is a picture of a 2010 elantra.. looks pretty close if you follow the hood lines, grill, and headlights...

I'm not saying it is for sure. But Id put money on it.

Is the camera distorting the image? If so it does look like the Elantra when you compare it to the other pic that's in this thread

It's a 2007-2010 Elantra. Based on the hubcaps (if it's the same as the one posted by 85redrunner) then it's only 2010. If they're rims then it's harder to say. If there is no antenna thingy on the roof in the back it's 2007 (sirius wasn't available for that one), if it's a little bubble looking thing on it then it's 2008-2009 and if it's taller (like 3 inches) and looks like a fin then it's a 2010

I used to have that gen so I can tell the differences

She's almost 4. Delicate as could be easiest going trail running dog. As loving to a stranger as to her owner.

Luckily he gave out enough flyers and chased down whatever and however there is still an ice cream truck. Same day some girl called him and said they just met "Dakota" which is her actual name.

She was about 45 minutes from home town. So I was told when he got here they played the nice role, yet I bet 100% they would not have ever told him if it wasn't for reward.

She still had her collar on, which has her name DAKOTA on it
Also on the back is the owners name and his cell phone number..........

Regardless safe and sound and that's all that matters. Thanks for everyone's help!

Great news, but what about an ice cream truck? Was it the perps that gave dog back? Or someone who knew they had the dog?

Sorry summerized it up. Long story short a girl who said they saw the dog saw the flyer from the ice cream truck (didnt know they were around these parts anymore haha). Said she saw the dog Dakota at someones house. That woman did not want any reward money, the truck person didn't either. Yet the people who had her didn't argue. However, I am works with the owner to make sur ehe doesnt pay. They clearly stole her after many new facts arose. And there lying through there teeth saying Oh the girls called (kids and there mother.) We even left info at the gas station (where that footage of car was taken). BS! The owner of the store and worker were in great contact with the dog owner and they had more flyers up than you could guess. They asked 5 minutes after taking the dog that is all they did. Anyway lets say there is a lot of other very strong facts leading towards theft. Also the fact they said they called the number on the dogs collar...... BS.... He spent every day out of work at that gas station and phone in hand. He doesn't miss a call or text....
