Need help, looking for a 99+ oem amp

Hi guys, I bought a 4runner and the idiot before me cut the harness from the factory amp, then installed a cheap amp, ran his own wires to the doors, and ran a power wire to a fuse in the fuse box... I'm looking for a factory amp with a 20 pin connector p/n is 86280-35080. If you have one laying around and can help me out I have a oem radio and just need this part. Lmk thanks

FYI almost* any SCION head unit will work in a 3rd Gen 4Runner. The factory wiring harness is the same as well.

About the amp plans, do you have the factory speakers? Because most factory head units don't work well with aftermarket speakers. Usually this is because of the impedance differences in the speaker specs.

If he ran custom wiring then you can easily install some nice aftermarket gear.

I just want to put it back to stock, and yes he actually left the stock speakers so what would you want for the entire Shabang? 6 disc changer etc?

Not sure what you mean but 6 disc changers in a sound system are pretty 1999 LOL.

I use an Alpine Head Unit that plays MP3s. All my music is on high bitrate MP3 files. Most MP3 capable players these days are able to "shift folders" so it is pretty easy to put 6 CDs on a single disc in 320 Kbps sound quality.

As far as getting a factory deck goes ... well you will have to rewire it back to the factory harness which could be more of a PIA than just adding a factory deck. But if you do want to go that route you can buy the Toyota CD radio on ebay or at a junkyard. I was just a one of the yards in south San Diego and the place had piles of used factory radios sitting around.

Personally I would add a SCION deck.. You can find one ~ 5 years old and "Scion by Alpine" for < $300 |or| you can get the 14 year old Toyota unit for < $100 on ebay.

I threw mine out along with a 12 disc Alpine changer, 'cause nobody wanted it. If your looking for a small, plug in amp, Alpine makes one that plugs into their radios. You could use that instead and it would put out more power than the factory amp. Check out: Alpine Electronics of America, Inc.

For $12, this should do it. Ask the seller to count the pins for ya though.

Delphi ?? I haven't seen an old OE deck in a while, but weren't they made by Matsu****a which is Panasonic?
