need help new to toyotas

i have a 94' v6 3.0. i just put in a aftermarket radiator and my lower hose connection is leaking between the engine and the plastic connection. the bolts are tight. is the suppose to be a gasket or dose the thermostat seal the connection?

Not familiar with the 3.0 myself...is it leaking at the thermostat housing? The 4 cylinder will leak like a bas**** if you don't have the O-ring gasket installed/installed correctly on the thermostat.

There should be a seal that goes around the outside edge of the thermostat...just changed mine the other day.

thanks for the info. i see there is a seal around the thermostat.
