Need help! Newbie shopping

Been browsing the last couple of days, im looking for a 3rd gen,

i have found this limited, which i have seen does not have the digital a/c controls and ugly cupholder, the leather and steering wheel are shot.

question, can i upgrade to gen4 seats with minor mods, what other steering wheels fit, i cannot find any in ebay for the love of god.

is there anything special i should look for, and would there be anything awesome about this year, how much can i offer...

my first question to you would be, Are you going to be taking this off road ??
If so, look for one with an E-locker, if not no need for the locker. as for the seats, I have no idea, lol

Nice color and looks good condition. The steering wheel is going to be tricky becasue of the airbag. I know HiluxSurf has an aftermarket on his but chose to not have the airbag. In case of an accident your insurance may not cover if you remove a safety device. You cant go wrong with any year 3rd gen IMHO. Lots of mods available for these and not sure about the seats.

Yep, there would be a switch that says RR DIFF LOCK in orange on a button to the left of the steering wheel, to the right of the dimmer knob.
