Need help on 3rd generation interior LED light swap

I'm seeing everywhere where people are swapping their interior lights for EXTREMELY bright white LED lights. People have told me they have ordered them from superbrightleds.com but I don't know any of the part numbers or the names of the lights themselves. I want the 2 personal lights by the rear view mirror, the dome map light that is right above the driver's head, the cargo light, and the license plate light. If someone can give me a website and the right part numbers that would be great! I have a 97 4runner.

I just ordered mine thru there:

LED Lights, Bulbs & Accessories - SUPER BRIGHT LEDS

use the vehicle finder link, fill out your details and you'll see all the bulbs you need listed out :thumb3:
LED Vehicle Bulb Finder

(trunk/cargo area) DE3175 = 2 personal lights by the rear view mirror, the dome map light that is right above the driver's head, the cargo light

Check out my post from another thread: LINK

Auctions are most likely dead now, but you'll see what size bulbs are needed for each area.

Edit: Here's the post to save time
I switched out all of my interior bulbs (and license plate bulbs) with LED, and can tell you these won't be bright enough. I actually purchased these types first, and had to go brighter in the end.

Here's what I ordered for my 4runner, and some photos to go along with it:

For the two main dome lights (buy two): Light Lamp Panel 48 SMD LED+T10+Dome Bulb+BA9S Adapter | eBay
For the front map lights (buy two): White Car Interior Light Panel 12 LED SMD Dome 12V | eBay
Glove Box (just one): eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices
License Plate (just one set): 2 X T10 10 SMD LED License Plate White Light Bulb Lamp | eBay

I'll upload some pictures of my set up shortly!

Hey there,
For my application they were not needed. all I did was replace the cargo, overhead,(cab- middle) lights.. I have never changed out directionals.

I know that for some applications they are pretty important. I mean that is if you don't want any abnormalities in the cockpit. good luck let us know how it works out.

well i was thinking about doing rear lights also, like brake light reverse, top brake light, tail lights and turn signals and turn signals up front, already have hids.

If you switch your tail lights to led, and your 3rd brake like to led. You'll need to put a resister on the 3rd brake light.

ok, what about the turn signals, would a flasher be required. i read on that link that the stock flasher might not be able to handle the leds

I did a real easy LED interior light upgrade by going to Advance Auto Parts. They sell a 12 light LED unit called "DomeLitz". Simply remove the existing maplight cover, dome cover and rear cargo area light cover and plug these babies in! It comes with all the adapters you need for a simple plug and play. When you order them online and enter a discount code, they are cheaper. I did not want to wait for an online vendor to ship them to me. Everyone who sees these lights always asks where I got them. They are awesome and put off LOTS of bright, white light.....
