Need Help Pairing Toyota Dash Cam to iPhone

Hey everyone, I might be blind but I can’t for the life of me find the WiFi button on my OEM Toyota Dash Cam on my 2021 4Runner TRD Pro. I’ve gone through the manual and I can’t find how to pair the dash cam to my phone. The app itself shows, what appears to be and older version with a dedicated WiFi button. Any help and guidance would be greatly appreciated.

For reference, this is the one I’ve got. I sat in my truck and went into my WiFi setting and didn’t see it listed on there. The instructions show a completely different model and one that has a dedicated WiFi button. I’m stumped.

No idea, but was the engine on when you were searching for WiFi, or was it off? It may only allow recording and not viewing with the engine on for safety.

Alright, I figured it out. The WiFi name on the dash cam is some crazy, wonky name and doesn’t say Toyota or anything like that. Once I figured that out, I discovered that the password for it was on the back of the instructional manual for the dash cam. Once all that was set, I just need to be in the rig when I want to view and download video.

I’m in the same position however slightly worse. I have the exact same dash cam however I have no manual as it is a pre owned vehicle and the dash cam manual did not come with it. Could you advise me as to what the factory code is or send me a message privately if it would be a security breach to disclose on here?

The previous owner has assured me he never changed the password from factory however he can’t find the manual and can’t recall what the code was.

I have spoken with a number of Toyota dealers trying to track down a manual with zero luck.

you will find the password in the dashcam itself. check around the dashcam for numbers.
