Need help removing rear light assembly on 4th gen

I bought the LED rear light assembly for my 2003 4runner and was wondering if someone can point me to a step by step guide of removing the old assembly? I am not even sure where to begin. Thanks to anyone that can help!

Pop open the plastic covers in the trunk where it'll lead you to two screws/nuts holding the current taillights in. There are TWO nuts that you'll need to remove... one in the middle and one near the top. After those are dealt with, the taillight assembly pops off the truck.

the 2 nuts are 10mm. use a long socket type. its takes a bit, but just wiggle it a little bit the tail lights come off.

Just go slow inside that area it's kind of tight. I dropped my 10mm open end wrench taking off the tail light and it friggin disappeared, never could figure out where it went to.
