need help removing rotors

Hello All,
I am trying to change my brake pads and remove my rotors on my 2000 4Runner, but I am having difficulty removing the rotors. Does anyone know if there is any sort of trick on removing these? Please help!

Take a hammer to the center by the lug holes. If you are replacing it take a hammer to the back. If you are unlucky with this technique, then maybe you have two 1/4 inch threaded holes you can stick bolts into to force it off.

threaded holes on the rotor will be an 8x1.25 thread pitch, this is what the truck will have all over it w/ a 12mm head size .. just thread a pair of bolts in evenly and the rotors should pop right off.
