need help rewiring foglight

I'd like to install drl switch off mode like this http://www.yotatech.com/showthread.php?t=92211 but with the factory stalk fog light switch and use a tacoma foglight switch to control the foglight. can someone help me out with the wiring as to which wires to cut colors and locations. Your help is greatly appreciated.

I don't really know much about electrical. I searched the forums and got some ideas how to go about, but not to the point that I could it yet. I purchased the tacoma switch already. Instead of using it to control another foglight or drl, I want to use it to control the eom folglight and use the stalk foglight to control the drl. I don't know where/which wires are for. I signedup for the tis to get the wiring, but didn't help me much. I guess I'm just not good at reading the diagram as attached pdf. I need help with the wiring color and where to splice/connect them. I thought I could find all my answers on tis, but not quite.

I sure think it would be easier to have the taco switch control the DRL's than trying to get into the fog switch on the stalk.

If you got TIS, that should show you everything you need to know about what wire does what. Can you post the pdf you are describing?

You need to have the pictures hosted on a site like Photobucket.com. Create an account with photobucket.com and upload your picture files there. Once the pictures are uploaded, there will be a field with tag codes for IMG to be pasted in your posts which will automatically display the pictures.

So you got your DRL switch. Great. It's easier to do it then to rewire the stock wiring and work it out from there. Congratulations.

actually i got a tacoma switch and used it to control the fog lamp and use the oem switch from the stalk to control the drl. it works great! if anyone wants set it up like mine...let me know
