Need help - Rockford or Infinity???

Need all of your expert help and advice...I'm debating between the Rockford Fosgate P162S 6.5" components or the Infinity Reference 6010cs 6.5" components for replacements in the front and rear doors. Any thoughts on either? They seem to be very comparable, except that it looks like maybe the Fosgates might be a better fit? What do you all think???

:help:

I don't know about the fit. All I can say is quality. It has been my experience that Inifinity is much much better than Fosgate. I used to have RF speakers and subs in my car and I hated them. The quality just seemed to be lacking to me. If it were me I wouldn't go with either. I recommend Focal component sets. Super high clarity and great quality.

I've had Infinity Kappa speakers in my 68 Camaro since I bought it back in high school and I still think they have great sound quality for a set of simple 6x9s. I have also used Rockford Fosgate products in the past and I have to say they just seem a little "watered down." The specs look good on paper, but the sound quality isn't quite as refined. Anyway, that's my 2 cents worth.

Infinity, My bro had some, and also i dont like RF subs all that much, the Punches at least. I think Infinity makes good products.

don't know much about the fosgate, but i did have some infinity kappas in my old accord, those were pretty kickin'

Infinity makes me drool.

I had a set of 12" Perfects...........that is - before those crackers stole 'em

.....how'd he know i liked crackers...lol I would go with Infiniti, you can never do better than infinity with fosgaY

Infinity all the way. They're built better for SQ. The Rockfords look cheep and the lows are rather muddy.
