Need help straping down my box

I have a small subwoofer box that holds my kicker 8" L7 sub. I want to find a way to strap it down so that it doesn't move around. I also want to be able take it out without having to undrill any screws. Any ideas on how to do this? Thanks

sounds like the best idea to me too..

Just he "hook" side of it though.

Just use the "hook" side on the box, and it will stick down pretty good to the carpet (wont slide, not gonna help you over insane bumps if you bring it off-roading)

That's what I have used. I have seen people screw clips into the base of the trunk and and mount them to the underside of the box and slide them together but who really wants that??

Not to totally shoot down that velcro idea, but that's not a safe way to keep your box secure. It will keep it from moving around during driving conditions, but in the event of an accident, that box is still a loose 50lb projectile. If you get hit head-on, that thing can and probably will come forward and seriously injure someone in your cabin. It's happened many many times before. Food for thought.

Great point...

Actually, using straps would be fine if you screw down a shackle into the floor to run the straps through, or use the carseat hooks on the back of the rear seats.
