Need help with a 2" body lift

Went to install a 2" body lift today and as I was lifting the body something burst from what looked like the radiator. I removed the lower shroud, took out the two bolts from the steering connection and loosened the shifter bolt. Was I supposed to drop the radiator before lifting? Anything helps guys, thanks

What brand kit did you get? The Toytec i installed came with brackets to lower the radiator.

I also got the toytec kit. I figured out what happened. I have an after market bumper installed and there's a notch cut out for the high pressure A/C line. Because the line is at an angle, as I lifted the body, the line was being pinched and eventually cracked and burst. Now I just need to replace that line. Can I just recharge the system myself or should I take it into a shop and have it done professionally?

Unless you have a vacuum pump to put the ac system under vacuum for 30 minutes before charging, then take it to a shop. Also, since you've opened the system and it's been open for more than a couple hours it would be a good idea to replace the receiver/drier assembly. The desiccant bag in there has probably burst now.
