Need help with Casper Shields and correct HID

I need some help.

I want to put HIDs into my headlights. I know that the bulb size is 9003 or H4. I already ordered the correct kit from DDM. From what I've read it comes with a shield around the bulb to prevent glare.

I've been reading about casper shields though. It seems as if casper shields would do a better job. I think they can only be used with DS2 or DR2 bulbs. I also think they eliminate the high beams. I'm fine with that.

Does anyone have insight into this? Would the casper shields prevent more glare than the shields the DDM bulbs have on them?

I really need to know ASAP. I have the order in already, but might have time to change it.

I don't know if the DDM shields are going to be sufficient.

did u get the bixenon kit of the h4? if so, u can seperate the bulb from the shield, u still need to do this so u can install the light, one counter clock wise spin, pull and its seperate, than install that metal part on the headlight, next u have the option to mod the stock boot cover and then install the light, i think some bixenon bulbs are different, u have to make sure that shield on the bulb itself is on the bottom, if u install it upside down u will make glare.

Yeah. If I don't change my order that is what I'm going to get.

I didn't know if it would be better to get the metal casper shields from HIDexpert instead. I thought they might have a better cut off than the ones from DDM.

If they do, then I need to change my order to a DS2 or DR2 bulb.

no need to get anything else, the bixenon bulb has everything, if u get those casper shield, u will need like d2s bulbs and will need the adapters for the amp plug to d2s plug.

Good point. I didn't think about the plug part.

I'm just crossing my fingers that the DDM shields will be good enough.
