So iv been messing with a few things on my 95 4Runner and it sucks gas and I know the mpg isn't suppose to the best or nor the worst but I know it should be getting around 16 to 18 mpg but mine Is getting around 8 if even that, getting around 90 to 105 per tank, and it's very annoying I have to fill her up twice to four times a week, and it's on my nervous and I don't want to get rid of it, I love toyotas and I love my 4Runner iv been threw hell and back with her and put so much into her and I just want her running great like she did.
Iv replaced the fuel filter and the air filter and upper intake manfoild gasket and the cold start injector and the egr sensor and the O2 sensors and the tps and all the belts, and did the timming right and the water pump and the cold start injector switch and collect temp switch and did a tune up and made sure there was no exhuast leaks.
I'm leaning maybe it could be a bad adjusted vavle? Or maybe injector? That's what I'm leaning towards, it's my daily driver til I can afford a bigger truck but for right now the gas money it is making it a slow process and it's gets very annoying, anyone else has any of idea?
