Need help with Navigation

After 6 months ownership I'm reasonably happy with the factory navigation system. It far exceeds the system in the Subaru that I'm used to. I do have one problem though. The speed limit icon. I've looked in the owner's manual.....going to options while in navigation and picking Speed Limit. A couple times I've got it to come on but whenever I shut off the ignition and restart, it's gone again.
I've tried the search function here and found nothing. Anyone else here having this problem? We're going on a 3,000 mile road trip next month and would enjoy using this feature. Thanks for any help given.

Thanks for the reply. I've been out of town and just tried it today. After setting Speed Limit in options and then pushing the i icon, it worked. Thanks so much.
