Howdy all,
I'm injured and unable to do the work I want to do on my 4Runner. I did what I could already but heavy / high torque is not going to happen for me right now. I'm looking for someone local that knows what they are doing with a 4Runner.
My inner CV boots are leaking. Driver side is torn. Passenger is leaking but it may just be the puked up grease from the other side. Either way, its a 2006 with 155k miles so its time to replace both axles. I was going to go pick up CVJ's replacement axles and also give it a 2" lift.
Is there someone that can do this in my garage, or theirs, or even a local shop if its affordable? I trust forum recommendations. This is my 2nd year in CO and other than a random shop on Federal or along Colfax, I don't know anyone that can get this done for me.
I'm looking to pay someone not looking for a handout. I've done the tune up and stuff I can but being injured has me sidelined from the rest of it. I need someone to do the axles and I might as well do the 2" lift while the front is apart, right?
Anyway... pm me or reply to this thread. I'm looking to get this done sometime soon, but no immediate rush or hurry. I don't want to let the CV's get bad. It just happened and I've got about 60 miles on it since it puked. No clicking. So there is time to schedule this to be convenient for someone.
