Need help with with lights

Im installing some reverse lights under 4R. I want to tap into line . On the tranny, there are some wire plugs. I know some go to the 02 sensers, I want to make sure In hooking into the hot back up wire. It's a 2001 . I saw some wires (2) that are multi colored . Can some one please tell me which is Hot and which is neg ? Thanks

no auto tranny for me....

I am not conversant with automatic trannies however I believe the place to splice into the reverse lights is at the taillight assembly.

Just my 2 cents I have not done this mod.... yet....

Another one? How many times have you done this? Ron, no not you, the one that doesn't lead others to disaster , can you post a write up on this? I wouldn't mind seeing it in the DIY mod area
