Need info about running four spare tire rims this winter as snow tire rims

So, can I run 4 spare tire rims off of a 3rd gen 4runner for my snow tire rims? I have a nearly new set and they look fine, but I think some of the folks here are more informed than I in this regard, so what say you?

I searched the threads before I posted and could not find info on the topic.

I'm not sure what the question is. You're wanting to use an extra set of wheels to mount snow tires on. How would that be an issue?

Or are you asking about using wheels that were once the wheels for the spare tire on four different 4Runners?

They are spare tire rims, like new, but built to be spares, and I don't know if 3rd gens are similar to the new models, which are not rated for everyday use.

So my question is are the 3rd gen spare rims rated for everyday use?

My reason is I want to run narrow snow tires for ski trips this winter and I want to be able to just swap out rims and tires.

Yes, they came from different 4runners. The were indeed spare tire rims/wheels.

Have you done the Tundra brake swap? Some wheels will not fit after that is done. By spare are you talking about the steelie with the holes?

No I have not, but I reckon, I need to reed about the swap and decide is it is something I want to do to. Seems Like everyday I read about some thing I need to consider doing here. Thanks for the hint and will read about the swap and decide if the cost benefit ratio is something I need to consider.
