Need major help finding tires for XD rims!!!!

Alright so Im about to buy some XD rockstar 20's to put on my 2006 limited but i dont have any idea what size tires i need... i want all terrains and i was looking at the ever popular BF Goodrich AT's, but i dont know what size i need....... Please Help!

I run 20's for the summer and I have 265/50/20's but they aren't A/T's. They are more of a performance directional tire. Are you planning on lifting the truck any? Planning on going off road with these?

I don't plan on lifting it just because i don't have the need to, but i want the all terrains because i have hunting land and it often gets muddy so i just figured that since im getting new rims i should go ahead and get the ATs...but i do plan on getting a 3' leveling kit for the front.. is that a good idea?

I don't recommend A/T's running on 20's for hunting land and mud. You're looking for trouble there as you'll more than likely puncture the tire/sidewall with such a low profile and it's not going to give you the traction you think at that size. If you had planned on lifting the truck 3 inches than maybe you could run a bigger 20" tire with thicker sidewalls for this. But, you're still better off sticking with A/T's even M/T's with your stock wheels.

Just my opinion... I only run my 20's in the spring/summer and only on pavement. I use my stock wheels with my A/T's for going off pavement and during the winter.

Thats a very good point, i think im just going to keep my stocks with ATs and put cooper zeon LTZ tires on the rockstars... they are like a street AT if that makes sense... what size do you think would fit? Are 285's too much? and what size is that in inches? 35"?

Without any sort of lift, from what I've read throughout the forum, you can go with a 265/70/17 (assuming you have 17" Wheels) without any rubbing. For 18" wheels there are a tons of threads discussing tires sizes(265/65/18). Anything taller or wider will cause you problems and require some cutting here and there to various body spots not to mention you still might rub on the upper control arms.

You want to just raise the front 3"? You'll be nose high by about an 1". Not something recommended. Get a proper 3" lift kit that includes front & Rear. Check out http://www.toyteclifts.com. Even still, you might need some modding to the body (trimming mainly) and most likely some spacers for the hubs for the size you're talking about (essentially a 33" tire).

O.D.: 30.56 in

265/70/17
O.D.: 31.60 in

265/65/18
O.D.: 31.56 in

265/50/20
O.D.:30.43 in

275/60/20 (Essentially a 33" tire)
