Need new cvs axels any recommendations

Sport05 I take it u have a gen 4? Did the third alignment cure the vibration? I'm thinking mine is related to driveline: cvs, u joints? I'm running my stock control arms.

I used to have a 4th gen. Have an 02 SR5 now. Yes the vibration is much less now. Just a touch in the steering wheel. Shop also said I had one tire that had quit of a bit of run out. Moved it to the rear.

On what trails bro?

The trails most members go out on here in San Diego county, except Coral Canyon, are kiddo trails and shouldn't result in a snapped CV

I guess I only "snapped" one and it was the original the first time I went on a trail so that doesn't count. The other 2 didn't snap they were just leakingh bad(probably from moab and telluride trip) but I replaced the whole CV because I had a hook up at the Toyota dealer at the time.

BTW when are we gonna hit some trails man?

I just did a ton of research on this. DO NOT buy the reman's from Napa, only the new ones. They're only $88 with a lifetime warranty.

That is what I ordered, with lifetime replacement.

OP. I had a bad vibration while accelerating and it turned out to be U-joints. I ended up replacing whole driveshaft but vibration is gone.
