okay so yesterday i went to the car wash and accidentaly went thru the one that your not supposed to go thru if u have aftermarket parts and it destroyed one of my lights DOH!!! good thing they were only 40 bucks. can i buy nicer lights and get them soldered to my old harness that originally allowed the crappy lights to just plug in? thanks ill get pics if needed

Wow. What kind of car wash is that? Do they swing rocks on the end of the rope to get off the mud in SC?

Most of the time, aftermarket lights are wired directly to the battery and to a switch in the driver compartment via relay. Only two wires at the fog light matter (ground and +Power), so if you are handy with a soldering iron, then you'll be fine.

yea just checking... i dont have a soldering iron so ill get someone to do it for me. bout to upload pics.

so i think im gonna get some of these pro comps and get em soldered on

yea thats what i was going to do. i was gonna use my money i had saved to get wheels but a brush guard would actaully have a purpose other then looking cool.... and i hope its the same brackets.. they look the same so... the only difference is the top brackets and in my pics they are pics from the opposite side so they might look a little different.

hunter said they didnt think they were the same brackets but i dont think they knew exactly what i was talking about. worst case scnario i get back under the runner and swap brackets

nice thanks but there might be a problem cause if those holes are off the slightest bit i will have to change brackets which is a Royal PITA hahaha
