i did a hefty tow of a full trailer (and full truck) halfway across the states recently in my 94 v6. now my rear suspension is looking pretty shabby. i have to laugh every time i see my truck from the side, it looks so bad.
sure i could go to the local parts store, but they've only got the basics. i'm just wondering if there's any recommendations of a good, stiff shock that i can get that will withstand occasional towing and still last me a few years. i'm all about the budget, but i will also spend a few bucks more to get something that will be better off in the long run.
and also, where's a good place to get these things? i'm in west-central minnesota (any other midwesterners out there who know of good local hookup spots?).
