Need part number for front skid plate bolt

Just did my first oil change and found a couple of damaged (partially stripped) bolts holding the front skid plate. Anyone have the part number for those? Thanks in advance!

Are they special?

I haven't looked or changed my own oil on this vehicle. If they are a standard bolt, then they are definitely metric and Home Depot or Loews will caryy them. Try and get stainless steel replacements or galvanized.

I'm not sure what part number it is, but i wounder why you had to remove skid plate? Isn't there an access panel (little plastic cover) in the plate?

You have to remove the forward skid plate or I guess others have called it a splash guard to access the oil filter. There is an access panel on the rear skid plate for the oil drain bolt.

That sux. On V-6 oil filter is on the top of the engine block. Realy easy to remove.

Pull the other bolt off and head down to your local hardware store and find the replacement. These items are not a security concern so no need to get factory stuff.

And if you're thinking about factory bolt, expect to pay upwards of 5-10 buck for that single bolt!
