I'm trying to figure out which used rim on the toyota side would allow me to run 285/70/17s with no wheel spacers? Or better yet what backspace is needed to run my size tires on stock suspension with no rubbing?
Need Rims for my 02 T4R

Well it looks as though I've ran across a set of steelies that are 17x7.5 with a 6x5.5 bolt pattern, I just need to check the backspacing tomorrow to make sure that it's atleast a 4 or 4.5 so my 285/70/17s can clear my 4runner until I get a lift on it.:naughty:

Not with anything bigger than a 32. Once you go bigger than that you need a wheel spacer. Although I'm not sure if the kid has spacers...
To the op, you are going to have a tough time finding a OEM Toyota 17" rim that will work with 33's and not need a spacer. Maybe a 5th gen wheel, but I'm not positive on the spacing.
It is going to take a lot of pounding and cutting to get a 33 to fit without a lift. Especially since the 02 is one of the lower years. It can be done, but you will rub and won't have great articulation off-road. I'm assuming you have the tires already and you will be fine till you get a lift, but the sooner the lift the better.
