Need running boards for 2001 4Runner

1999runner

Hi,

I have been searching all over for a set of running boards for my 2001 SR5 4Runner. I know the running boards on the limited fits pretty well on the SR5. If anyone got a black set please let me know; no hardware needed as I can buy them from a local dealer.

thanks

I just bought my 4runner but I'm about to take them off and selling some other pieces too. They look good on the 4runner but I can't say how much rust or how little rust there is under there. What were you looking to spend? and where are you located?

I would love to have it, but I am too far from you. I will keep looking for something closer by. thanks!

Just a heads up, when I bought some running boards for my 2001, the package said they fit 1999 to 2001. I got them in 2001 so that is why it didn't say 2002. My point being, the 96 MAY not fit a 99.

I know my car had special bracketts that were under the car and it fit pretty easy. I had to drill a hole through the car though. That was pretty scary to do to a brand new car.

If you can't find any, buying from a wholesale parts place on-line, the price should be 1/2 to 2/3 off list price. I think they were listed for around $680 and I paid around $250. Of course that was back in 2001. It took about 2 hours, one and a half to put one side on and 30 minutes to put the other side on. It took me an hour to figure it out, I guess.
