Need some advice for a few minor repairs for my new 99 SR5.

OK, over all this 3rd Gen is in better condition than when I got my 98 and will probably be a bit cheaper to get it back to stock the way I like it.

First off, the antenna is busted, I hear the motor still running so I think I just need to replace the actual antenna and that seems to be a cheap enough and simple enough fix.

Second, I do not know what the names of the two bars are on top of the roof rack but all of the black paint has chipped off and I would like suggestions on replacing or repainting them....anyone?

Finally the stock Toyota radio/cassette deck is only mono. Could/would it be easy to find an OEM Toyota unit to go in there?

You're on the right track for the antenna

Remove roof rack, sand, prime, paint desired color. I would just go black.

Not exactly sure what you want to know for that third question

I guess I would appreciate any links or suggestions as far as good places to find OEM replacement parts. I saw a link around here somewhere now I can not find it. I used eBay to get lots of things I needed for my 98 3rd Gen and it was a bit pricey and rather unpredictable.

A junkyard, or CL would be your best bet, but you'll need to get the security code with any used OEM stereo to make it work. Usually the code is in the manual or there will be a single sticker with (usually) a 5 digit code in one of the door jams or in the rear hatch area.

Certifit.com has lots of OEM used parts.
