Need some advice/help with OME lift

I have a 2003 Limited T4R and am planning on getting an OME lift in December. I'm not quite sure what springs to get with the set-up I will have. I am having a Shrockworks bumper made and possibly some sliders as well. I will probably get the 895(medium) in the rear and nitrocharger sport shocks in front and back. But my question is, should I get the 885(medium) or 886(heavy) springs for the front? Based on the information from the ARB website, the 885 work for 70-180 lbs additional weight in the front which should cover the Shrockworks, but do I also need to have a little more since I have the V8 ---> 886? :ybrick:

If you have the V8 and do not plan on eventually getting an aftermarket bumper and winch, you will want the medium duty springs. If you plan on getting a bumper, go with the heavy duty springs.

I probably wont put a winch in the Shrockworks for a while until after I am in an off-road situation where one would have been really helpful plus I don't really have the funds for one at the moment...

So, should I just get the 885s for the front and swap them out for 886s when I do finally get a winch into the bumper? Or do you think the ride wont be too super stiff with the 886s having the V8 and Shrockworks bumper(without winch) and sliders?

I am just concerned about the ride being too stiff and/or the front being too high(not having enough weight out front) offsetting the rake too much the other way with the 886s.

Also, this is my first 4x4 vehicle and my first experience with mods/lifts so i'm pretty much a newbie.

A phone call to Slee Offroad might be helpful...they know their stuff. Sleeoffroad.com....
They did my OME susp. back in 2006.
