Hey all,
Some might remember me back when I posted my 97 3rd gen runner. I loved it but due to nerve issues I had to sell it (it was a 5 speed and I cant shift). I purchased a 2014 toyota tacoma and I loved it. I had it lifted and was doing more to it, ill upload pictures when I get home. After 13 months of owning it I was in a serious rollover with my son. We walked away minor scratches (thank god I was driving a toyota).
Before accident and after
So needless to say im missing my play toy. I have an opportunity to purchase a 2nd gen with a 3.0l with turbo mod. It has the water injection kit fairly clean. Its been sas' d (which I want). Its got a lock rite locker in the rear running all pro springs with 36" I rocks with 95% tread. Its got minor dings but everything pretty much works as expected. They are asking 4k for it. The motor scares me a lot. I could work on it as im mechanically inclined, but im concerned with being stranded with it. Ive read where people have no issues and others say run. Should I run for the hills or take the gamble? Thanks!
Can't seem to get my pictures to work..
