First off I'm new to the forum and have been researching 4th Gen Runners for awhile now. Have found a ton of good info here.
I'm looking at a 2004 V8 that has some very nice mods (lifted, good tires, wheel spacers, etc) with 65K miles. The truck used to have a TRD Supercharger now removed and I wanted to get some input issues that may have on longevity of the motor.
I did some reading that the 4.7L V8 has or had rod issues that could cause a failure. What do you think about a truck that had a supercharger installed for 25K miles or so but now back to stock. Issues, worries, pass or not?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance . . .
