Need some advice on tires

I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get 4 new tires for my 88, which sat for about 7 years before I bought it and brought it back to life, so to speak.
The tires have all their tread but are decayed on the sidewall. I want to get some 31 X 10.50 X 15's, all terrain, but want tires that aren't too noisy on the highway.
Yours thoughts?

BFG AT's. Not very noisy, great traction on anything, seemingly last forever, excellent on and off road manners, 3 ply sidewalls, relatively inexpensive, and I have yet to wear a set out...they end up starting to dry rot after 6 years or so...can't put enough miles on them, although i managed to get 80k miles on a set that finally started balding on the front inside edge...still sold them for $50/tire.

Also, toss your old tires up on craigslist for 100-200 bucks, and state they are weathered, but have tread and would be perfect for a deer lease jeep, or farm truck. When my BFG's get too old, and start cracking, I sell the set of 4 for $200...every time. I just put 33's (BFG AT's) on my Runner for about $750ish. $100 mail in rebate = $650. Sold the old set...and I mean OLD @ 9 years old for $200...so my new set of tires cost me about $450.

X3 on the BFGs. The KM2s are very quiet for an M/T. I own both and the KM2s are only slightly louder.

Street duty and trails = BFG A/T (best all around tire IMO)
Less street duty , trails and mud BFG M/T KM2s (love those tires)

I love the KM2's too! But they are noisy in comparison to the A/T's and need to be rotated more often so something to think about if you drive on the highway alot!
