I am looking at a 1998 4Runner limited with a supercharger. It currently has 172K miles and looks very well maintained inside and out. The CarFax shows no wrecks but 6 previous owners. The timing belt and water pump were last replaced at 113K miles. I have checked the VIN on the Toyota service records site and there are 2 pages of maintenance entries. I am planning on going to look at this 4Runner soon and wanted a more expert opinion on weather I should just stay away from a 172K mile supercharged 4Runner. Over the phone I was able to get the owner down to $5500. Please let me know what you think?
