Need some tire help.

So I am new to the site first of all, I love all the info you guys give. Ive had my 2wd '98 for about a year now, and cannot wait to get these 225/75/15's off..I am just wondering what is the biggest tire I can get on a stock ride with a 15" wheel..I am looking for a more aggressive stance from my 4runner. I'm guessing its a 265/70/15 but that doesn't seem to be very abundant in a 15" wheel.

You should upgrade to a 16" or 17" wheel.

You can run the equivalent of a 265/75/16 which is a ~32" tire.

Yeah I would really like that in the long run...these tires are so narrow and small..doesnt do it justice. What would you do for wheels?

You could either get the 16" version of the wheels you have now or get the 16" stock 5 star wheels. Another popular choice are the 17" Sequoia/Tundra rims. With these rims your looking at about $100-450.

I have a set of the stock 16" wheels and 265/70/R16 tires you could buy...and Huntsville isn't that far...just an idea....

In the long run though, you're gonna want to do at least a 31" tire/wheel combo whether it be a 15 or whatever...it's like the beginning of what looks right on these trucks...

Yeah, thats very true, I hate the tires I have. I would love to have some 16" wheels, are they the 3 spoke ones like I have now? I dont know if I could swing it now, but how much would you want for them?

I 2nd that, go with the wheel n tire combo that fonerunner has and I think you will be satisfied for now, i only say for now because you are on this website and the mods are only starting!!!!
