Hey guys,
I've been on this forum for quite a while and have tried to keep an eye out for wheels that I like. I've looked through our lift/wheel stickies and all. But I still haven't found a wheel I'm thrilled with.
I'm currently running the sport edition wheels with Spidertrax. The Spidertrax continue to make me nervous with each trip through mountain roads - I'd like to get rid of them. I'm looking for suggestions for a wheel that:
-puts the outside edge of the tire where Spidertrax does (i have gathered that 0 offset and 4.5 backspacing does this, but it's still a bit confusing to me).
-is aluminum
-is not black or grey. My 4Runner is black. I just don't like black/black.
-is not flashy. Why is it so hard to find a conservative aftermarket wheel?
So far I like those elusive BBS wheels that I don't think I'll be able to find (http://media6.dropshots.com/photos/149/20100201/182442.jpg), the Method Standard (a bit pricey, they mention ok for "light" offroad use, possibly a bit too flashy but still undecided) and then I was recently looking at the AR Outlaw II. Has anyone put those on their 4th gen? Thoughts? (http://i534.photobucket.com/albums/ee349/cbrezman/IMAG0022.jpg) Would really love to see more pictures. Seems like they are more popular with the older trucks.
