I got a call from Demello Off-road the other day that my bumper will arrive by the end of October. Right now my 04' is running with stock springs but I switched to Bilstein 5100’s last year at 155k miles. Right now I am sitting pretty at 170k and I know the new bumper is going to weigh down the front end ~ 150lbs. I would prefer to keep the Bilstein 5100’s as they are great but the springs are definitely going to need to be changed.
I'm looking for Dobinson springs that would work with the stock LCA,UCA, Axles but support the weight of the bumper without major sag.
The 5100's are set at 1.25" or 1.75" I will look tomorrow to see but it is close to stock ride height. The lowest option I saw was:
C59-302 - V6 - 100-220LBS heavy load front weight, 2" lift.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
