Need To Add Sirius

I want, no NEED, to add Sirius in my T4R, but am a bit unsure as to where to go. At first I was going to replace the head unit with a Navigation unit, but I actually prefer to use my EVO Navigation. But, I can't live with AM/FM radio, I have to have satellite. I've seen some sirius units on Amazon, with iPod connection for $265 and it looked like Crutchfield had some for $60 or so. I have the JBL stereo and am unsure what I need to buy. Below is what I figure I need, but if there are other options, let me know, thanks in advance!!

This looks like a nice option that includes the iPod hookup. I already have the AUX input, but this would be nicer I think.

That's probably a good solution. Back in the day when I used a Sportster 4/5 I used the USA Spec device to hook that and my iPhone up to my JBL System (I no longer have this system). It worked great. Right now I have a Pioneer nav and the same Sirius module you're looking at on that ebay auction.

My $.02 on that is the Sporster models have far more functionality than the Sirius unit you are looking at. Easier working with the presets, more lines of information on the screen and the ability to pause/ff/rw.

Yeah, I know that a separate unit gives you a lot more options and functionality, but I don't like having the unit mounted somewhere, I'm more of a factory look guy. But, I can't live witout Sirius, I know that, FM is just not cutting it!!

I'm with you on having a cleaner look. I got tired of having all the different mounts too so I just got a nav unit with everything. I haven't listened to FM in 5 years.

I wonder if Sirius makes an input that will work with that unit and plug directly into your FM antenna.

You could always use the Sirius app on the iPhone and then all you need is the ipod/iphone cable.

Right?

I listen to sirius 15 hours a day on my iphone using Pocket Tunes.

Well, I ended up ordering this, I hope everything is relatively smooth to install. It doesn't say, but I'm assuming I won't be able to control my iPod via the stereo, but that's okay, I can live with that. But I CAN'T live with AM/FM radio
