Need to know where to get a fuel line with a fitting...

The fuel filter fitting on the fuel line is detriated and rusted need to know where i can get a repair one to put a new one on

You have two choices:

1. Get the part from Toyota stealership.

2. Get universal metal fuel line from a retail auto parts store and buy a tube bender to shape it like the original.

I need to do the same thing...will probably use option 2 in order to save money.:hatsoff:

I think there are repair kits available. You just have to cut off the old connections and add new ones using a fitting. Should be easier than replacing the whole line. I need to do the same, haven't had time to look into it yet but i'm sure you can find them online or just buy a piece of pipe and fittings from a hardware store.

Local junkyard (Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market) is a good start.

Otherwise, PM fellow member Death Cougar (he posts in the Classifieds section) and he can usually get what ya need instead of going to the stealership.
