Need to Replace Rotors and Pads 04 4 Runner

Hi guys,

I need to replace the front Rotors and Pads for my 4 Runner I just purchased. I don't have a repair manual, Can someone provide with instructions on how to do it.
What is the best place to get parts on line, and if there is a repair manual in pdf format , that would be great.

How many miles does it have on it? I've got an '05 SE V8 2WD with just under 80k miles on it and I'm just now having to get new brakes. But I don't need new rotors, just new pads and having the rotors machined.

I can't imagine you'd have anymore milage than I do, cause I'm about 20k over what I should have if you go by the 15k a year stat. Check your tire pressure -- I found that when my tires were low, I'd get brake shutter pretty bad so I thought I needed new rotors as well, but once I filled my tires up to proper PSI the shutter went away.

Anyway, don't have any suggestions, taking mine to the dealership. All the other shops I called are asking the same price so I figured I'll take factory warrantied work and factory warrantied parts.

I've done a buttload of towing as well over the past six months, so even heavier load on brakes than normal.

Just an FYI but I did the same thing on my Tacoma and the rotors were good for about 5k after being turned. Not sure if they took off too much or what it was but I ended up buying new ones...and then selling back to Toyota a couple months later...
