Need transmission kit part # forum searches all failed?!?!

OK Before anybody gives me an earfull I have tried every search imaginable to get this info and all have turned up nothing so that being said any help would be awesome..1998 Limited 4WD (3.4) and need transmission filter kit (filter and new 19 bolt gasket) and every autopart store and dealer tell me they are not sure which one it takes WTF?!?!?! ANybody have an idea what part number and reccomend a brand for filter have been looking at BECK/ARNLEY Part # 0440299 but when click on info states only 1997 Limited man I have never EVER had this many problems looking for a dang:rant: part can anybody help a brother out???

Do you know which transmission you have? There are two types, A340E or the A343F. Im sure you have the A340E. Carquest has a filter kit for the A340E, it is #96039 (Carquest Transfilter Kit) and it has the 19 bolt gasket. If you do indeed have the other trans, Pioneer makes a kit #745165. Any good parts store would be able to tell you if it had a 19 bolt gasket. Hope that helps!:driving:

man unless I am reading my chicken scratch wrong my transmission has 3040 LE stamped on it so 340E is not much of a stretch and Im sure you are right wonder why mine has extra digits?!?! Anyhow thanks for the help I am rolling with that part number it it the only one that makes sense!! Thanks for the help I wish there was a database on the forum for part numbers etc but as always I consistantly get help when I ask thanks again!!:roadkill:
