Newbie here seeking help,
First off hope I am in the right thread for what I am looking for.
got a buddies 2007 or 09 4runner with rear disc brakes 2wd if it matters. Well the axle got hit and the whole diff assy is bent. Got a used diff to replace the damaged one, but no rear disc park brake shoes. At least the bent diff shoes and hardware is in one piece, but how in the H..L do I change the shoes? there isnt enough room to get at the hold down spring/cup to do the install and the bent rod the goes around the park arm what the fu.. and that dinky hole on the axle flange, it looks like someone let a ford engineer loose in the park brake design department, there has got to be a easy way to do this, any help would be great. And since its the weekend, I cant get my hands on any manuals or alldata, and my buddy needs to make a road trip sunday night with the wife and kids, thanks for any help. REB
