I have, what appear to be, nerf bars on my '02 sport. I am going to remove them so that I can paint them black. When I crawled under my truck this weekend I found a small problem with removing one of the front bolts. It appears to be metric, which I do not have a socket for, and because it is recessed looks to maybe need a "thin walled" socket. Has anyone removed these before? I just want to find out exactly what I need so that I do not buy tools that I do not need. Thanks.
