Nerf bars installed on my BP Limited

I used the Steelcraft nerf bars. I had seen this thread which led me to the Steelcrafts.
Installation was not difficult. It took me less than two hours. The bars seem to be quite solid. They mount to the body-mount bolts under the vehicle. If you look on the bottom of your truck, just behind the front wheel well and just forward of the rear wheel well, you'll see each of the bolts. Look for a bolt sticking down that has a hex end on it. A 17mm nut is attached to the bolt, and it holds a large black rubber grommet.
To install the nerf bars, you need to remove that 17mm nut while preventing the hex end of the bolt from rotating. In other words, you can't use a socket for most of the nut turning. The installation would be much faster and easier if you have a ratcheting box end 17mm wrench.

Would you think that these nerf bars leave enough room for the Husky mud flaps (your best guess)?
I'm wondering if any members have pictures of black nerf bars on a Mag Grey 4R. I had nerf bars on my old Tahoe and kind of miss the ease of having the step when needed.
Chrome looks sharp on your BP, but I can't see more chrome on the Mag Grey.
